The Nigerian film industry popularly known as Nollywood continues to move and expand in leaps and bounds. It has inadvertently woken up the appetite for African entertainment and that appetite is being satisfied by various sources. The industry has evolved. Some producers have taken it upon themselves to shoot big budget films for cinema. Others have decided to shoot for online websites while still others have decided to go it alone, shoot and post directly on youtube, cutting out the middle man. According to the synopsis, Ezebunafor (played by Sambasa Nzeribe) of Ebenano village, has found himself a beautiful maiden from Ozobulu village, and needs his Father’s approval. There is however, a secret in Ezebunafor’s family about wives and barrenness. Uzoamaka (played by Oma Nnadi) oblivious to the fact, agreed to marry Ezebunafor and has a taste of the troubles that unfold.
First of all, if you are unfamiliar with the actor that played the lead role, Sambasa Nzeribe `all I can tell you is ‘brace yourself’ because you’re in for the ride of your life. No new comer to dramatic roles, Sambasa honed his skills in the University of Lagos where he studied Creative Arts, before playing several memorable charcters over the course of his career. He is able supported by Oma Nnadi who played the role ‘Uzomaka’ as well as actors Harry B, Chinenye Nnebe etc. Oma also happens to be one of the Executive Producers as well as the producer.
