Massive congrats to Tyler Perry on the grand opening of ‘The Tyler Perry Studios’ in Atlanta Georgia. This groundbreaking event makes him the first Black man to own a major studio on the USA.
The studio is reportedly built on 400,000 acres of land and boasts twelve sound stages named after Black acrors, actresses and directors that inspired him during his career such as Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey , Whoopi Goldberg, Harry Bellafonte, Spike Lee etc.
The event drew several high profile stars such as Beyonce, Jay Z, Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, Oprah Winfrey, Bishop T.D Jakes etc.
